My sessions have focused on topics such as mathematics education, artificial intelligence, technology integration, equity, and professional learning. Beyond the Graph: Building Data Literacy Through Classroom Routines
In this webinar, educators will explore classroom routines, authentic data sets, and resources designed to strengthen data literacy across the mathematics curriculum. Participants will investigate strategies that encourage students to notice and wonder, ask meaningful statistical questions, examine how data are collected and represented, identify patterns and variability, consider context and potential bias, and use evidence to support conclusions. Participants will consider how data investigations can promote mathematical discourse, curiosity, critical thinking, and student agency.
